Testimonials
January 2010 marked the 7th anniversary that my father has lived in Princess Villa. Several times over the years, I have been asked by friends if I would recommend the Care Home for their family members and my answer has always been an unequivocal “yes”. Princess Villa is my father’s home in every sense of the word. He is comfortable and secure with his surroundings, loves the home-cooked meals, and is treated with kindness and respect by all who care for him.
The Staff at Princess Villa are conscientious and most-importantly, caring. Since the new
ownership in October 2008, many positive changes have been implemented. Our family has been most appreciative of the services of Vivian, a Registered Nurse who works for VillaCare and makes weekly visits to the home. She has been an incredible advocate for our father’s healthcare and someone whom we may consult if we have any concerns. The activities that are planned for the residents provide a stimulating, interactive environment for the residents. My father especially enjoys the afternoons when Joe, the accordion-player, comes to entertain the residents.
I feel that the Staff at Princess Villa are true partners in the care plan for my father. Crystal is always responsive to our inquiries, communication being such a vital part of a care program.

Precious Memories Villa
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Crystal and the staff at Precious Memories Villa for the wonderful care they provide for my mother. The caregivers treat everyone with respect, kindness and friendliness and gives me the confidence that mother is well looked after. My mother’s health has greatly improved since her arrival at Precious Memories as she now receives delicious meals, snacks and also receives her medication on a strict schedule. The in home services are a wonderful part of her care, she has her hair done, manicures, pedicures, taken for blood tests and a doctor that visits weekly. One of the big positives for my mother was the introduction of the house cat Mya, I have noticed a great change in my mother’s attitude, there is something to be said for pet therapy!
There is a real need for the services you provide, so keep up the good work.
Again thank you,
Sincerely,
Bob McEwen
MARION AT PARKVIEW VILLA
When I was looking for a place for our Mom I wanted a compassionate professional staff, good meals, good health care, a homey atmosphere with safety included and some form of recreation provided.
This was a tall order but the villas seemed to fit the bill and I have not been disappointed with my choice. Our Mom has lived at Parkview for six months now. The transition was not an easy one for Mom, she understood she needed to move and appreciated feeling safe, however giving up some of her independence and just the effect of moving was very difficult for her. More difficult than I would have anticipated. The staff persisted in working with me to try different plans to ease her difficulties. It worked. For this I am very grateful to them all.
In Mom's Christmas letter, she said when asked about her new home "Mine is considered a single room, the furniture and pictures are mine, no problem about color of walls-a quiet pleasing restful grayish tannish color " and she went on to describe her own furniture in the room She also said "Meals are excellent-no leftovers, served quickly and personal stuff like diets are considered, staff are respectful of what I would like without changing too much. It is a well run and well kept building. Yes, I am happy here. Retired women always cope. I have excellent care. The atmosphere - staff - gives me a sense of security."
More recently Mom said while telling me about her supper time. "The girls are so comical and respectful. I couldn't be in a better place. Sharon, they are so 'UNGRUMPY'
I appreciate being kept informed of Mom's health and social issues by Vilvian or Mercy. It is very helpful to have a Dr. make calls to the home. The in-house hairdressing, footcare and lab. work is wonderful. I am most impressed with the recreation and stimulation activities planned. Mental and social health areas are addressed. Also the exercises directed by the regular staff are so important to keep flexibility and stamina maintained.
I am well pleased with Crystal and her team and I am so happy that our Mom has a great place that she calls " my home" now.
Thank-you Sharon Klemke, Wendy Marion-Orienti and Bill Hosegood
